Tis the Season to Be Thankful

 It has been entirely too long since I've last written a blog post. I'm annoyed with myself.

This is my first blog post of the fall semester, and I'm bummed about it, because blogging every other week during my whole semester in Australia was an awesome constant in my life. I looked forward to it, and it helped me reflect, appreciate great moments that had just happened, and share cool stories.

 But don't worry, my writing will continue to exist on the internet.  I'm still here!
I'm back to grace with your technology screens with my strange commentary, goofy statements and somewhat relevant gif's.


I would almost go so far as to say something is missing from my daily life now because I haven't been writing enough, and I haven't been posting the thoughts I want to share with people.  However, the bright side of me not posting in a long time is that I am busy with other things and I'm having a great semester.

 These past 4 months have been packed full of activities, assignments, social events, new and old friends, invaluable opportunities and countless fun times. Starting now, I hope to share more of those emotions, funny stories and lessons learned.

 Forever Thankful

 Today, unlike most other posts you've probably seen on this page and my travel blog, I want to take this opportunity to talk solely about one theme, instead of going through the events of my recent days, telling you about a trip I went on, or giving tips and advice about something.

 This time, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to simply list out all the things I'm thankful for.  I'm thankful alone for the fact that I could never actually count everything I'm thankful for, but these are some of the biggest blessings that I think about a lot.

European Adventure

The Next Adventure Before the Next Adventure May 2017 I'm finally a graduate. A graduate of the University of South Carolina. It's  hard to believe it's already over, but at the same time, I know my 4 years were absolutely spectacular. I know I'm ready to move on to the next chapter of my life, the "young professional chapter," which is sure to be a period of incredible growth with untold adventures. But first, it's time for a global adventure- another trip across the big pond- but this time I'm flying in the other direction.  Passport to Paris... & beyond Back in November, my sister Lindsey and I went to Mizzou to visit one of our best friends, Mary Pat. At long last, a TJM recap of our wee holiday to Ireland in June 2022. ☘️🍀 ☘️🍀 ☘️🍀 ☘️🍀 ☘️🍀 For each of the 3 cities we visited, I'll give you my typical 3 TJM blog favorites. 1) a favorite item or place for FOOD, 2) the same for DRINKS, and 3) I'll share a Traveler's Tip. I spent one week on a solo trip in Bali, and I absolutely loved it. Throughout that trip, I kept thinking to myself "This is the most foreign place I've ever been." Well, Morocco blows Bali out of the water in that respect.    Bali was incredibly touristy, and so was Marrakech, but the culture surrounding tourists in each place is very different.
